The role

We are looking for a highly skilled Mid-level Software Engineer with experience in web performance. If you were the person improving your company’s website performance, monitoring, and debugging web performance issues, and are looking to maximize your impact, Spiffing might be the perfect place for you.

As a Mid-level Software Engineer, you will contribute to developing the tools and AI models that power the PerformanceGuardian platform. Your experience in web performance will help the team improve the tool’s effectiveness and user experience. You will also use PerformanceGuardian to measure and provide recommendations to our customers, becoming a contact point for that customer’s web performance issues.

The role is full-time (~40 hours per week).

What we require

At least 4 years of work experience in software development.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in web performance, web technologies, and browser APIs.

You are not comfortable discussing your work with your colleagues.
The expectation to deliver high-quality software is too much pressure.

Salary

The salary for the Mid-level Software Engineer role is €38,000 - €42,000.

At Spiffing we pay global salaries—every person of the same seniority and title gets paid the same regardless of location, based on their experience and role.

All roles are grouped into three levels of seniority.

Salaries are paid on a monthly basis on the last day of the month.
